Cedar, Pine, & Poplar Air Dried Dimensional Lumber
Superior Sawmill provides custom milling at our sawmill and has an inventory of dried wood available for purchase.
Our sawing capabilities include lumber, siding, and logs with Kiln Drying, Planing, and Sanding of the lumber. We use a dehumidifier for less stress and less warping.
The Northfield Planer can go 8" tall and 24" wide. Its great for sizing very rough wood into uniform blanks to be used in the wood molder. Its large capacity makes it invaluable in making bar tops or mantle pieces.
The Pinheiro 1000 Series Molder is the work horse of the operation, Its 4 cutting heads provide the flexibility in operation that allows us to create several kinds of profiles, including Shiplap, Flat Match, T & G Paneling, S4S, and Flooring.
The Wood Mizer LT-50 is an Electric bandsaw mill that saws logs into lumber blanks to be dried, planed, and sold to our customers. The Bandsaw is a good fit for our operation because it allows us to keep a close eye on quality while reducing waste.
